Sharon grew up outside of Boston, Mass., but when she came to Vermont to attend college, she knew she never wanted to leave. Where else can you find a job you love, and "live in a postcard"?
She became the lead forecaster and director of the weather department when Stuart Hall retired in 1990.
She has a BS from the University of Vermont and has been a member of the American Meteorological Society since 1988.
Sharon "retired" from WCAX in 2021, but still contributes garden tips and other features to our shows.
She is married and enjoys family time, travel, baseball, boating, skiing and hiking.
