Police investigating Leicester death; local schools closed as police search for suspect
LEICESTER, Vt. (WCAX) - Authorities are investigating a death in the Addison County town of Leicester.
It happened just before 10:00 p.m. Sunday. Vermont State Police say a 911 call came in about a disturbance on Route 7. When troopers arrived, they found one man dead and a second suffering from injuries. He was taken to the hospital and his condition was not available. None of the people involved have been identified,
Police are now searching for a black Nissan sedan that was seen leaving the area.
Schools within the Otter Valley Unified Union School District are closed Monday including Otter Creek Academy, Otter Valley Middle/High School, Neshobe School, and the Lothrop Elementary School.
There were no other immediate details.
