Woman injured in Derby hit-and-run
Troopers in Derby are busy investigating a hit-and-run.

DERBY, Vt. (WCAX) - Police are investigating a hit-and-run in Derby that left a woman injured.
It happened around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Vermont State Police say a 24-year-old woman stopped her car on the side of Nelson Hill Road in the town of Derby to check her tires.
They say when she was walking to get back in her car, she was hit by a pickup truck that kept going.
The woman was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Police say the truck is described as a tan/brown newer pickup, possibly a Toyota, with a white or black stripe down the middle of it. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police in Derby at 802-334-8881.
